A MESSAGE FROM PATIENT ACCESS

Having listened to feedback from patients, we are pleased to announce that the welcome page for Patient Access has been updated, making it clearer and easier to use.

New layout
Patients will be able to setup their Patient Access account through the 'Register' section on the left hand section of the screen, using either the registration letter from their practice or the on-line registration facility.

The sign in section on the right hand side should be used once the patient has setup their online account.

Note: if you are reissued a new registration letter as an existing user of Patient Access then you should use the left hand section and re-register.

New help
The 'Help with Patient Access' section has also been updated to include frequently asked questions and videos to assist users.

how to request a repeat prescription

If you need repeat prescriptions, you will usually be given a printed list of medication with your prescription. This list can be used to order your medication by ticking the relevant box and returning it to the surgery or your usual chemist.

Please give 3 complete working days notice.

The prescription can then be picked up from the surgery or sent to your nominated chemist in Bicester.

To avoid mistakes we regret that prescriptions cannot be ordered over the phone.

We are able to dispense to all our patients who live in rural areas.

If you require important medicines urgently during working hours please contact our dispensers or receptionists by phone or in person. If we are closed urgent medicines can be obtained through the GP out of hours service, please ring 111.

We now offer an on-line repeat prescription request service which can be accessed via the Patient Access link on every page of the website. You will need to contact the surgery reception to register for this service.
